Governor John Kasich at Ground Breaking Event

Your Corporate Sound Solution

Rock The House Entertainment Group had the pleasure of being selected by Oakwood Village Mayor Gary V Gottschalk as the sound engineers on the groundbreaking event for the expansion of Maines Paper & Food Service on July 16, 2012. This was an important event for Ohio and especially the city our offices are based in, Oakwood Village. 100 new area jobs will be created here in Ohio because of the work Govenor John Kasich and Mayor Gottschalk put forth. Maines is one of the largest privately owned and operated companies in the United States with an annual revenue of over 3 billion dollars.

Mayor Gary V Gottschalk has been working with us more and more on a variety of projects that include our lighting design, sound engineering, DJ / MC entertainment, as well as our photo novelties. In fact, this summer we’ve been working with his office on a summer student DJ class for middle school students. Having this strong relationship has made it easier for us to feel more connected to the immediate community we work in each day.

Providing one of our elegant podiums as well as running the sound for important corporate events is an area we take true pride in. Our sound technician ensured everything from the live rendition of “America The Beautiful” to the governor’s speech sounded clear and professional to all the guests in attendance. The next time your company has the need for sound services in Cleveland, Akron/Canton, Columbus or anywhere in Northeast Ohio, remember Rock The House.

Cleveland Event Entertainment Softball Challenge

1st Annual Rock The House / Jerry Bruno Softball Game

It’s summertime. That means shorts, hot dogs, and sports on a diamond. We decided this year to get our team together to play our friends at Jerry Bruno in a game of softball. Surprise, surprise…we have found out we have some real ballplayers. Between our all-staff meeting, holiday party, and now this event…we get to hang out with our ENTIRE team more often. This event was a huge success and we were able to raise money and can goods for the Cleveland Foodbank.

Check out this video to see the action:

39th Annual ZippityZooDoo in Cleveland

2012 Cleveland Metroparks – Zoolin Rouge

This annual event is really special to us. Not only do we all support the Cleveland Metropark Zoo but it is a prefect chance to work with some of the best event professionals on a truly collaborative event. Everyone had an important role to play in this very successful event. Over $285,000 were raised including auction pledges!

Rock The House was selected to provide tent lighting, our Green Screen Photo Magic, and the silent auction video presentation for this fundraiser. Our silent auction video package is something we are very proud of. Our designers create dynamic images to entice attendees to bid on the fabulous donated items that the Zoo was offering. Not only is the creative process of this exciting to us but it is also a way for us to impact donations directly.

Being able to show off our ability to create a WOW factor in a tented event space is something we really excel at. This event had some of the most breath taking temporary structures from Everything Tented. We saw each guest’s jaw drop when they saw this event space.

We learned a lot about our Cleveland Metropark Zoo while at this event. Did you know that over 3,000 animals live on this 183 acre venue? It’s a pretty impressive event venue on top of being a staple of what makes Cleveland special.

Thanks to all our fellow vendors for the opportunity to show off this wonderful location:

Also, thanks to Clue In Cleveland for all the great tweets.

Cleveland’s Award Winning Entertainers

We don’t mean to brag

2012 has already been an amazing year for Rock The House. We have won a number of awards for our services and our customer service in events that took place in 2011. Between the growth our company has been experiencing and the accolades we have received, we are incredibly proud of our team and clients.

So far, in 2012, we have received:

  • Best in Show Booth Design – Today’s Bride Bridal Show Akron
  • Best in Show Booth Design – Today’s Bride Bridal Show Cleveland
  • CBC Connectors Choice Awards – Best Technical Support Company
  • CBC Connectors Choice Awards – Best Entertainment Company
  • SBN World Class Customer Service Award Nominee
  • ISES Wow Award for Best Meeting or Conference over 100K

We are currently in the midst of the busiest part of our year and these are good reminders to why we do what we do. We don’t work hard to win awards. We work hard for our client’s most important days. It’s a privilege to be asked to be part of celebrations and we don’t take it lightly. Recognition of our efforts are, however, a point of pride. We love what we do and we’d love to do it for you!

Rock The House Auditions 2012

With another year of growth we face another year of expanding our staff. This year, we took a cue from some of the more popular reality shows for our auditions!

Hosted at Cleveland’s House of Blues, hopeful MCs, DJs, and Dancers went through the first stage of our tryouts with full-time managers, dance captains, and support teams watching, testing, and asking many questions.

We were VERY pleased with the turnout and excited to see that there are many in Cleveland very interested in working for Rock The House clients on events in the future. This was only the first stage, however. Those that made the fist cut were asked to come to the Rock The House headquarters to learn more about the company and meet more of our team. This session was more hands-on and targeted qualities like teamwork,  passion, and customer service skills.

We have some great new talent this year who will be working hand in hand with our senior MCs, DJs, and Dancers. Let us know what type of event entertainment you need for your upcoming Wedding, Bar or Bat Mitzvah, Corporate Event or Fundraiser!

Force Indoor Sports Bar Mitzvah

Cleveland Bar and Bat Mitzvah DJs helped host a Bar Mitzvah at the Force Indoor Sports in Bedford Heights, Ohio. The Rock The House DJs played music and provided MC host services for the event.  Party Dancers were brought in to get the movement started on the dance floor after the activities on the field ended.

Rock The House lighting helped make the evening more magical.  Green Screen Photo Magic provided photos with unique backgrounds for everyone to enjoy.  Novelties such as hats and glasses were brought in to make the pictures more memorable.

Check out the Rock The House website for more information on Bar Mitzvah DJs or other event entertainment.

Bridal Shows by Cleveland Wedding Reception and Ceremony DJs and Lighting

On Sunday, October 16th, 2011 on the Embassy Suites in Independence, Ohio, Rock The House sponsored and helped produce the Cleveland Fall Today’s Bride Bridal Show.

Rock The House provided lighting, DJs, MCs, entertainment, and event production to the event. In addition, our booth highlighted our various divisions such as videography, photo booths, green screens, games, and wedding lighting.

Rock The House also created a signature look to the fashion show and provided expert wedding reception tips on stage prior to the show’s start. We hope to see additional brides on October, 23rd at the Fall Akron Today’s Bride Bridal Show at the Sheraton Suites.
