Key to the Cure 2013

Saks 5th Avenue & Cleveland Clinic Team Up

On October 17th, we were selected to help contribute production, a photo opportunity and entertainment for “Key to the Cure“. This fundraising event was put on by the Cleveland Clinic and Saks 5th Avenue to help raise money and awareness for women’s cancers. A cocktail reception with drinks from Society Lounge, live entertainment, a fashion show, makeovers, and exclusive swag all on one night only at the Beachwood Saks Fifth Avenue.

Here’s what Cleveland Clinic’s Laura Hoffman had to say about our contribution:

Rock the House continues to amaze me with their ideas for events I am working on with them.  RTH’s creativity, endless energy, and passion for producing outstanding events really showed through at Key to the Cure.  From the moment you pulled in and saw the large pink ribbon illuminated on the building, you knew you were stepping into a remarkable event.  Saks Fifth Ave. looked beyond amazing, the music set the vibe for the evening, and the guests loved having their picture taken at the step and repeat.  Beyond just the ideas they bring to the table, the RTH staff are always positive and never say no.  They always make it happen and make it ROCK!

A Prom To Remember 2013

A Magical Night of Hope

Rock The House is really proud to have helped create “A Prom To Remember” on April 5, 2013 at The Ritz Carlton. A Prom to Remember‘s mission is to provide the ultimate prom experience for teens who have been affected by cancer. Their goal is not only to provide them something incredible to look forward to, but also to give them an experience that will give them lasting memories. This event that helps provide hope, strength and inspiration.

We’re very excited that many Cleveland businesses offered their services to help make this event one of the best proms anyone could hope for. Guests arrived via limo to a red carpet walk where they had their photos taken and were interviewed by WJW/Fox 8 reporter Kristi Capel. Attendees ages ranged from 12 to 19 with a number of guests making repeat appearances. Cleveland Browns players Greg Little and Dan Gronkowski were both on hand to hang out and play games with the students as just one of the surprises this event had in store for the guests.

Thanks to Jane Knausz, Prom Chair, for these kind words on our participation:

“Thanks so much for DJing Prom 2014.  I got a lot of good comments about the music, etc.  You are a welcome addition to our team!  As you could see, the kids had a great time.  I was very comfortable with your music selection.  And I did hear you making announcements about eating and hydrating!  That was perfect.  The kids have so much fun, they forget about that.  And with their health, it is really important they take care of themselves.”

All of us at Rock The House are excited that we had the opportunity to provide the entertainment and lighting for this important event. Being able to do what we excel at for worthy recipients is at the heart of our RTH Gives Back program.

Lake Erie Monsters Pink The Rink 2012

Rock The House enjoys a great partnership with The Lake Erie Monsters and the annual Pink The Rink event is yearly highlight of that relationship. Each year, The Lake Erie Monsters Hockey team raises awareness as well as money for cancer research. Quicken Loans Arena was awash in pink-clad hockey fans ready for a great time and we are proud to have helped.

Rock The House dancers had a great time with many of the kids attending the game. Our Rock The House stage on The Q concourse had dozens of kids of all ages dancing, singing, and having a great time between periods of the game. Our DJs, MCs, and dancers were able to both have fun and show off their skills. For instance, check out this video of Ernie:

Another reason everyone at Rock The House looks forward to Pink The Rink is that the entire team is welcome to attend the event with their families. We had over 100 tickets and that’s one big group!  One of our sections was even on the scoreboard. Here’s a picture of Matt and Ryan that 1000’s saw live at the game.

Rock The House also was retweeted on the scoreboard from this tweet:

This event is for such a great cause and we are really excited to have been asked to help. If your next event is looking for that something special to bring it to the next level, give us a call.
